CIVIL RIGHTS

Amar Shergill has led a number of efforts to expand civil rights in California, including employment protections for religious clothing, including yarmulkes, hijaabs, crucifixes, and turbans. He is often called upon to address and advocate for the civil rights of marginalized communities in California and across the nation.
